How SuperTix works

Follow the steps for buying or selling tickets, with details on checkout, delivery and payouts.

Buying tickets

Find a show, compare the listings and check how your tickets will be delivered.

  1. Find the right event and show

Open Events and search for the artist, event or venue. For events with multiple shows, choose the city and date you want.

    • Check the event date, venue and city before comparing tickets.
    • If no suitable tickets are listed, join the event waitlist or set a maximum-price alert. Matching listings trigger an email; the alert does not reserve a ticket.
  2. Compare listings and choose your tickets

Each listing has its own seller-set price, category, quantity and delivery type. Check the details that matter for your visit.

    • For seated tickets, check the section, row and seat information. General admission tickets do not have assigned seats.
    • Choose the quantity you need. A listing marked as a set must be purchased in its full available quantity.
    • Use Buy Tickets to proceed to checkout, or add tickets to your cart. Availability and prices can change before your purchase is confirmed.
  3. Provide delivery details and complete checkout

Sign in and review your order. Checkout shows the ticket subtotal, buyer fee and total before payment.

    • For mobile tickets, enter the email linked to your BookMyShow or District account when requested. The seller uses that account for the transfer.
    • For physical tickets, provide a complete delivery address.
    • Check the event, ticket quantity and final total, then complete payment through the checkout. Keep the confirmation email and order reference.
  4. Receive your tickets and track the order

After successful payment, SuperTix sends your confirmation. The next steps depend on the ticket type.

    • For mobile tickets, watch for the transfer from the original ticket platform and follow its acceptance instructions.
    • Open My Tickets to see your purchases and their transfer or delivery status. Courier and tracking details appear there when provided for physical tickets.
    • If a ticket is not delivered or there is a problem with it, contact support with your order details.

Selling tickets

Prepare your listing, complete the review and transfer the tickets when they sell.

  1. Complete your seller details

Sign in and open Sell Tickets. First-time sellers complete the seller information and accept the Seller Agreement.

    • Provide your PAN and the required tax declarations, including GST details where applicable.
    • List only genuine tickets that you are entitled to transfer or resell.
  2. Choose the show, category and asking price

Select the exact event and show, then add the ticket category, quantity, delivery type and price per ticket.

    • For seated categories, enter the required seat details for each ticket. Use the General admission category for tickets without assigned seats.
    • You choose the asking price. If the category has a maximum listing price, the Sell form shows and enforces it.
    • Enable the option to sell tickets together if the buyer must purchase the whole set. Otherwise, buyers can choose from the available quantity.
  3. Add documents and payout details

Upload the ticket documents requested in the Sell form and enter your payout UPI ID.

    • Choose the original platform for mobile tickets, such as BookMyShow or District.
    • For physical tickets, select or add a pickup address.
    • Check the seller fee estimate and all listing details before submitting.
  4. Submit the listing for review

Your submission goes to the SuperTix team for review. It becomes visible to buyers after approval.

    • Open My Tickets to check the listing status and manage eligible unsold listings.
    • Keep the tickets available for transfer while your listing is active.
  5. Complete the transfer after a sale

When a buyer purchases your tickets, follow the instructions for the sold tickets in My Tickets.

    • For mobile tickets, open Transfer Instructions and use the buyer platform account shown for that order.
    • Transfer the tickets through the original platform. Upload proof of transfer when requested.
    • For physical tickets, follow the pickup and delivery instructions provided for your order.
  6. Track your payout

After the transfer is completed, SuperTix prepares the seller payout using the payout details on the order.

    • Your payout reflects the sale amount less the applicable seller fee.
    • You receive a final status update. If the payout details need attention, contact support with the order information.

Read the Seller Agreement for the full seller terms.

How ticket delivery works

Mobile tickets

The seller transfers your tickets to the original-platform account attached to your order. Use the correct account email at checkout and accept the transfer when it arrives. SuperTix also sends an email when the seller marks the transfer as sent.

Physical tickets

Provide your delivery address at checkout and follow the delivery instructions in your confirmation. Check My Tickets for delivery status, courier information and tracking details when available.

Legacy e-ticket orders

For an older e-ticket purchase, follow your confirmation email and open My Tickets once delivery is confirmed. Use only the ticket files shown in your dashboard, and keep your order confirmation available for the event.

Always check the listing’s ticket type before purchasing. Delivery and transfer steps can differ between events and platforms.

Fees, pricing and buyer protection

Sellers choose their asking price. Buyer and seller fees can differ by event. Checkout shows the applicable buyer fee and total before payment; the Sell form shows an estimated seller fee.
